Hey love, Iām Stefanie Adler
Your data-driven functional health practitioner and advocate for a root cause approach.

Bringing your body back into balance requires more than a band-aid.
A root cause approach is essentially the opposite of generalized health advice that is rampant in the U.S. Instead of a one-size-fits-all solution (think, meds, or diet; or, meds & diet), our a root cause approach is a holistic way to look at the body, health, and well-being of an INDIVIDUAL BODY operating as ONE SYSTEM.Ā
Because inside the body, symptoms donāt always manifest in the location and system that the problem originates from.Ā Ā
For example, fatigue, a hormone or nervous system response, might originate from the gut, the digestive system. Or, constipation, a digestive system response, might originate from a mineral imbalance like copper.
By seeing the body as one system, we can identify the factors that cause the body to be out of balance.Ā

With body-sourced data from lab testing, we address the problem at the root, and allow for sustainable, long term healing.Ā
For example, if someone came to me with thyroid issues, acne, anxiety, and infertility, weād look at all of these symptoms as connected and identify the sources of imbalance in the body.
WeādĀ support the whole body rather than treating each symptom as its own problem.Ā
By taking this approach we create an environment where the body is resilient, adaptable and can heal itself.
Itās not always easy to go against convention.
But our conventional approaches have failed women.
I grew up in Atlanta, GA, and throughout my early childhood I struggled with constant stomach aches. I was regularly anxious, bloated and lethargic. Gluten allergies werenāt mainstream at the time and doctors simply shrugged off that my digestive discomfort could stem from nutrition & lifestyle. At just 12 years old, doctors suggested I may have endometriosis and put me on birth control.Ā
Does any part of the above sound familiar?Ā
I wouldnāt be surprised if so.Ā
At 13, without any support from family or doctors, I removed gluten from my diet entirely (no small feat growing up in the American South), and within a few months, my digestive discomfort faded away.
The foundations for my interest in health and wellness had been set, not to mention a deep belief that food can be medicine or a catalyst for ādis-easeā in the body.

Fast Forward - 10 yearsā¦
I was dealing with chronic health issues like:Ā

Acne
Problems

Hormone
Imbalances

Thyroid
Dysfunction
ā¦and I hadnāt had a period for a decade.
Through knowledge gained from my degree in Nutritional Consulting from Bauman College, I realized that the birth control pill Iād been on since age 12 was causing me hormonal issues.Ā
I took matters into my own hands and came off the pill. But my symptoms didnāt subside. If anything, they got worse.Ā
Determined to heal my hormones, boost my fertility, eat in a way that felt GOOD for my body, and generally learn how to listen (again), I delved deep into the world of womenās wellness.Ā
I became a birth doula and later completed my Functional Diagnostic Nutrition (FDN) certification while building programs for women seeking a wellness specialist with an individualized and holistic approach.Ā
Fast Forward - 7 yearsā¦
Iāve helped over 400 women to

In 2023, I became a mom
In my journey through early motherhood, Iāve witnessed many of my peers instantly struggling with energy, body confidence, weight, and mental health, while Iāve felt so happy and well during this same season of life.Ā
I lost my baby weight without trying, have abundant energy despite multiple night wakeups to this very day, and have never struggled with the baby blues.Ā
This wasnāt just luck; it was by design. It was through getting intentional about nutrition and wellness, it was through running functional labs on myself during the journey to customize my wellness approach to give my body what it actually needs.
Empowering women to rediscover themselves, regain energy for motherhood, and carve out time for self-care will change the world.
